Attention Racers and Race Fans: The Hendry County Motorsports Park April 18th event has been cancelled. The property has been flooded from the surrounding canals, the efforts by several people on Friday to pump the water out were undone by the rising waters of the area water system. Saturday April 25th is the proposed rescheduled date, all affected racing associations have been informed at this la…te hour and detailed information will be ironed out in the next day or so. This is devastating news since this was going to be an incredible event, every effort was made to put this event on but it was an impossible feat fighting the area water table with all the rain the last few weeks. The huge response to this event shows there is great support for this facility and big events like this one will bring out the fans and the racers.
