Spirit of the Rules:
To keep this class as stock and affordable as possible. The absence of a specific rule does not imply approval. Keeping it, stock creates better racing for the drivers as well as the fans. If its not stock and not in the rules its not legal
No cell phones or electronic devices allowed in cars ever.
There have previously been issues with mirrors, no car will be allowed to compete with a mirror. Should you be caught with a mirror being used it will be automatic disqualifications. If a visiting pavement car has a mirror, it must be blacked out using tape and will be inspected by the tech inspector prior to competing.
Safety:
ALL DRIVERS MUST WEAR FULL FIRE SUIT, RACING SHOES AND GLOVES
Helmet must meet SA Snell 2010 or SFI 31.2 standards
HANS style neck brace is highly recommended
Racing seat and 5- point harness is mandatory
Window net must be properly mounted
Fire Extinguisher is required in all cars
Belts can be no older than 3 years past the clearly marked manufactured dates on them.
Windshield must have a minimum off 2 half inch bars in front for protection (metal screen is recommended but not mandatory) Glass must be removed
Tech:
All cars must go through tech on your first visit to the track
All cars are subject to being scanned by officials at anytime
Top 3 cars to tech after heat race. If found illegal you will start on the tail of the feature.
Top 5 will go to tech after the feature race as well as any other cars selected by track officials.
Two crew members per car only (more than two will be instant DQ)
Remember changes not listed in these rules does not mean its allowed
Stock/factory means stock for make and model of car being used
Cars:
Only the Crown Vic, Grand Marques, or Lincoln Town Car 1991 or newer will be allowed.
Body must match frame ex. No newer bodies on older frames and vice versa
Frame must be full and complete as from Factory
No adding weight / ballast to car period
Track can add weight to any competition at any time. Weight minimum is 2,950.00. No adding of lead doors, cage, or any other location.
Body:
All cars must have number on the roof and doors
Must have at least 2 vertical bars mounted in front of the driver. 4 is recommended.
All factory mounting locations must be in original location and original design
All flammable materials, glass and plastic must be removed
Air bags must be removed
No spoilers or wings allowed
No hulling or lightening of body anywhere except for the front and rear doors for cage clearance
B-pillars may be removed for cage clearance and doors must be welded together.
Front and rear bumpers must be piped but no bigger than 1 ¾ and no thicker then .095 must have tow chains front and rear. Tube bumpers must turn back in towards frame.
Aftermarket bumper covers allowed front and rear but must use All Star style bumper or stock behind it.
Hood and trunk may utilize factory hinges but must be secured with hood pins
All holes in front and rear firewall must be covered with aluminum or steel max thickness 1/6’’
Factory dash may be removed but framing must remain for steering column mount.
Steering column and pedals must remain in stock location. Quick release wheel is allowed but must at attached to stock column
No interior decking of any kind is allowed in the 4.6 class for any reason including looks.
May cover factory dash framing with aluminum but no deeper that 15’’
Stock gauge cluster must remain and be in working order
Roll Cage:
Must be 4-point minimum .095 wall thickness with 4 curved door bars on the driver’s side. Straight bars can be used on the passenger side. A driver’s door plate is recommended.
Cage must remain inside drivers compartment only. No part of the cage may extend outside of driver’s compartment.
It is recommended that the cage be welded to the frame and not the floor, but not required
Cage must not be set back past front rear floorboard. This should not be possible anyway being pedals must remain in stick location, unaltered, Front hoop allowed.
No drilled/slotted rotors
No lightweight calipers
Fuel:
Stock pump gas only, ma octane 93
No race fuel
Stock fuel tank and pump only mounted in stock location
Front Suspension:
Steering column – Does not have to be factory, but must remain in stock location, adding a quick disconnect steering wheel is allowed.
No altering stock suspension
Must remain completely stock as from factory unless specifically stated in the rules
No cutting /heating springs
Stock springs only for make and model
Strut/Spring must match side to side
No swapping upper control arms side to side
May run lower camber bolt from MOOG or equivalent
3 degrees camber max (zero tolerance) You may adjust as factory adjustments allow. No other modifications. (factory length bolts must be used in upper control arm mounts). You may use eccentric bolts.
May remove sway bar, if running both sides must be attached evenly
Rear Suspension:
No racing shocks or springs
Stock replacement shocks only, No Billstein or racing style shocks
Springs must remain size, height, and diameter side to side
Stock trailing arms and bushings only
May run aftermarket watts link bolt
Watts link may be reinforced or run Massive Speed tubular watts link part no MASS’17045.0
Wheels/Tires
Must be stock steel wheels. No aluminum
All 4 wheels must be same size and offset
No wheel spacers of any kind
Cars 02 and older may run dodge charger 17’’ wheels, Ranger wheels, Jeep Cherokee, or Ford Explorer wheels. Absolutely no Bart wheels or any other wheels. Stock aluminum wheels have been previously allowed, but are being phased out.
No down bars front or rear
Cage may not be set back any further than front edge or rear floorboard

Engine:
Engine must remain completely stock 4.6 sohc 2v for make and model being used
Stock computers only !!! May run p71 computer in non p71 cars, the computer in each car must match the generation of the car. A Mercury Marquis may use a P71 computer from a crown vic. No tuning of computer allowed.
If tuned it will be confiscated by track officials. The track at its discretion reserves the right to swap computers amongst competitors at any given time. Drivers and car owners have no influence on this decision.
Complete ac systems may be removed
AC condenser must be removed and may install separate trans cooler
Intakes must remain stock or stock replacement ex. Summit part no 226450
Stocks coils or stock replacement. No high performance colis ex MSD, ACCEL Flame thrower.
Exhaust manifolds must remain stock. Cats may be removed and replaced with pipe. Note there are 02 sensors on years that need to be there to run well.
Must run mufflers stock or after market and exhaust must run past driver
Radiator must contain water
Transmission:
Transmission must remain completely stock
No truck or 5.4 transmission
Converter must remain stock for make and model
All gears must be operational
No removing gears or lighting
Driveshafts must be painted white with safely loop
Rearend:
You may weld the spider gears or use factory posi aftermarket lockers o.k. you may weld spider gears or use factory posi. You may change the gear ratio of the rear end.
Brakes:
Must remain completely stock for make and model, however brake pads can be of different brand
All 4 corners must be in full working condition
Battery:
May remain in stock location or moved into a secure box.
FULL KILL SWITCH
In rear of deck or behind drivers roll cage or kill all switch if battery is relocated. No oversized marine or equipment size batteries are permitted.
Tires and Wheels:
Tires must be DOT approved
No snow, racing, or all terrain tires
No directional or high-performance tires, no autocross tires.
Res under 350 treadwear
Tires must be same size on all 4 corners
Max tire price is $145.00
Cheating:
1st offence will be driver and car disqualification from the event, 2nd offence the driver and car will be disqualified and be fined $200.00
Major infractions – If you have been caught for any performance enhancing computers, performance aftermarket parts, altering the torque converter, the car and driver will be banned for 6 calendar months for the 1st offence. A second offence will constitute a 12-month Calander year suspension. The 3rd offence the car and driver will be banned from the 4.6 Ford Division Permanently.
All tech questions are to be discussed directly with the tech inspector. Approaching the owner of the track concerning rules is not allowed and in most cases the driver will be docked 25 points as all have been warned. Should the driver not be docked it will be at the owner’s sole discretion not to be influenced by competitors, other words do not get involved for any reason.
The computer in each car must match the generation of the car. A mercury Marquis may use a P71 computer from a crown vic. No tuning of computer allowed. – THIS IS BEING RESTATED
